flow is an experimental animation film created for Dr. Tai-Hsi Fan, of the UConn School of Engineering.
flow bridges the gap between fine art & engineering. It is composed of an abstract sequence of experiments that demonstrate the visual beauty of fluid dynamics and phase transitions.

Below are some of my initial experiments, testing various combinations of the different fluids (paint, ink, milk, oil, soap), and how they interacted with each other.
Here are a few experiments I did with the final footage, masking out
the areas with the most interesting movement to create a more dramatic effect.
